Quoting the magnificent Oprah,
how the hell did i let this happen?!
So, i have never had a great body, but i was well on my way to become decent looking when i met someone and we started going on dates, and dinners, and to the movies and lots of places where i was surrounded with food and shit with tons of carbs. The worst part was that in the excitement of getting to know someone new, i preferred going out with him than going to the gym. Everything worked out fine, we have been an item for over a year now, but unfortunately i gained a lot of weight, i am at my original shape before the whole ¨i am so depressed i need to go to the gym to wear myself out and not think¨ period. I have tried to get back to the gym several times since january but i just can not commit to it. So i think it is time to resort to some oprah wisdom and share with you advices that i think she has given in her show.
She might or might not have said that you have to exercise in "automatic" Just do it and dont try to find results in your body for at least the first three months. It is like a snowball, once you have started moving your body, all of sudden you will find yourself doing the exercise without actually trying to kill yourself. And after a long time, once you do see a little change in your body, you will finally find there the most nedeed motivation.
Also im pretty sure that Oprah did say that one of our biggest enemys in our war against weight is the way we were raised. Most of the ways we use to show our affection is through food, so in any kind of celebration there has to be lots of good fried crispy crunchy roasted delicious food. And since we were kids our relatives would stuffed our plate and we could not get up of the table without finishing the whole thing, you know, because "of the starving kids on other countrys": they had no food so we had to eat every obsecene amount of food they put in our plate. Well Oprah urges you, do not finish your plate!
Also be careful with the trans fats and dont believe in magic pills to lose weight, cause believe her, if there was such a thing as a magic pill that would make you lose weight while you are eating and watching tv, Oprah would already have it.
